Work on the site will begin in 2015 with an estimated investment of US$60-70 million in total.

The museum will have three main sections – a static display section, a special exhibition section and an outdoor section, VnExpress reported.

The exhibits will include items on scientific history, as well as illustrations of achievements in all fields of science including geology, physics, chemistry, biology and environmental science, local media have reported.

“I hope the museum will foster passion for science and technology in the youth, especially students,” Dr. Nguyen Quan, Minister of Science and Technology, told V nExpress .
