Each cave has its own features, makes tourists different strange feelings.

1. Huong Tich Cave, Hanoi

Huong Tich cave is in the scenic Huong Son, My Duc District, former Ha Tay Province (now Hanoi). It is about 70km to the Southwest of Hanoi. The cave had been discovered for a long time, but until King Le 15th century, it was used to worship Buddha. The cave has temples, stone entrance which was built in 1914.

Going through the entrance, tourists have to go down for 120 stone steps, there is the inner part of the cave. Besides, the works of natural sculpture, temples in the cave have valuable sculptures like Phat Ba Quan The Am statue which was carved by green stones in the Tay Son.

 2. Tam Coc – Bich Dong, Ninh Binh

Tam Coc – Bich Dong is one of the most famous landscapes of Ninh Binh and known as “ Ha Long Bay on land”. It is located on Ninh Hai village, Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh, far from Hanoi about 100km to the South. 

The scenery here is so impressive, captivating and rustic with big mountains in four directions. Through the events, the ups and downs of history, Tam Coc – Bich Dong still remains attractive and natural beauty.

 

3. Dau Go cave, Ha Long, Quang Ninh

Dau Go is one of the most beautiful caves in Vietnam, located on Dau Go island of Ha Long Bay. The cave is about 5000m2 of the width and the entrance is wide as 17m, and 12m in height.

With ancient features and a lot of stalactites having different architectural shapes, Dau Go cave has attracted plenty of domestic and foreign tourists. The cave is divided into 3 compartments has its own special beauty.

 

4. Phong Nha cave, Quang Binh

Phong Nha cave belongs to Ke Bang limestone mountain area, Son Trach commune, Quang Binh District  and about 50km to the Northwest of Dong Hoi city. Phong Nha has hundreds of large and small caves with a total length of more than 70m. In the cave, there are many stalactites like giant teeth.

This is a limestone area where is considered the oldest in Asia, was created more than 400 million years ago. According to the expedition of British Royal, Phong Nha has 7 the best: the longest cave, the highest and widest entrance, the most wonderful sandy beach and reef, the most beautiful groundwater lake, the most magnificent stalactites, longest underground lake and the most beautiful cave.

5. Thach Dong, Kien Giang

Thach Dong is a limestone mountain with diameter of 45m and 93m above sea level. The width of entrance is nearly 50m. Inside, there are a lot of stalactites with many funny shapes. Tien Son temple is also inside which was made of wood from 1970 by Thien Lam Te.
