In 1928, in a medical survey in the Southeast, French doctor Sallet discovered the existence of this hot spring and introduced it to Indochina Research Bulletin.

Besides Binh Chau primeval forest, there is Ho Coc beach with white sand stretching.

Since 1989, Binh Chau has been invested to become the ecotourism area fror relaxation and treatment.

A variety of constructions for relaxation and treatment with hot spring have built such as hot tub, outdoor well used to boil eggs, mud baths for individual and family, etc. in addition, there are many self-contained constructions for travelers who come here to entertain on weekend such as golf course, volleyball, swimming pool and a theater with more than 1000 seats.

Swimming in hot spring and mud bath with fresh air will help you overcome a lot of diseases.

In August 2003, Binh Chau hot spring was recognized as one of 65 sustainable ecotourism area of 47 countries all over the world by World Tourism Organization.

Besides, tourists can visit the primeval forest. It has about 43 rivers, big and small streams such as Hoa river, Cat stream, Nho stream.

With the pristine landscapes and cool fresh air, Binh Chau tourist areais now an attractive destination in Ba Ria – Vung Tau , especially in the summer.
