VietNamNet Bridge – An exhibition entitled “Treasures of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam” will be held at the Korean National Royal Museum in Seoul, South Korean until February 2.

The exhibition displays 165 objects and photos of the Nguyen Dynasty and video clips of historical relics in the ancient citadel of Hue city. These objects are provided by the Hue Royal Antique Museum, Vietnam.

The Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945) is the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam, which moved the capital from Hanoi to Hue city in central Vietnam.

At the exhibition hall, a throne of the Nguyen Kings is displayed. With 13 emperors in 144 years, the Nguyen dynasty is one of the longest dynasties in Vietnam.

The exhibition also introduces objects from the royal tombs and temples, a big censer made in 1925, royal swords and objects used in rituals of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Fabulous royal costumes and sophisticated hand-made items are part of the exhibition.

A 3D video clip featuring the Hue citadel is also screened at the exhibition.
