VietNamNet Bridge – Dr. Doan Thi Kim Hong has been invited to join the judge’s panel of Mrs. USA 2011 pageant. She is the first foreign jury member of this beauty contest.

Dr. Hong received the invitation letter from David Marmel, Chairman of the Mrs. USA Organization.

Dr. Hong won the Mrs. Congeniality at the Mrs. World 2005 in India. She was the vice chief organizer of the Mrs. World 2009 in Vietnam.

The Mrs. USA 2011 pageant, the 35^th, will take place from April 11 through 14 at Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. The pageant will be broadcasted live on many channels.

The beauty contest attracts 51 women from 20-50 years old, representing their home states.

Dr. Kim Hong and her husband will leave Vietnam to US on April 8. Her son and her assistant flew to the US on April 5.

“My son went to the US to see his friends in the US while my assistant will try to acquire experience from American organizers to organize beauty contests in Vietnam in the future,” she told VietNamNet.
