Diem Trang, a fluent English speaker, will not only be an ambassador of Vietnamese youth at the forum but also a host and an assistant to the forum director.

“I’m very eager for the event. I have read a lot and practiced my English to fulfill my role at the forum. This is a chance for me and Vietnamese youth to exchange with international friends and to introduce Vietnamese culture to them,” Diem Trang said.

The Asia-Pacific Youth Forum will attract more than 250 outstanding students from 20 countries. Nearly 300 Vietnamese students in HCM City will join the event.

Entitled “Connecting Corporate & Youth Responsibility”, the forum aims to raise awareness and empower Vietnamese youth with respect to the topic of responsibility, and what youth can do to contribute to the betterment of society. The forum creates an open-dialogue between the youths and the businesses about issues we face in each of our communities with regards to environmental protection, poverty, gender equality, diversity and inclusion, etc.

Some sideline events include Global Village on March 20, Youth Forum on March 23 and Vietnam Night on March 25.
