VietNamNet Bridge – A hospital in HCM City has treated a three-year-old baby from the central province of Thanh Hoa, who was hospitalized with worms crawling from her nose, mouth and anus.

The baby was malnourished and sometimes vomited worms. Some of them were as big as chopsticks and 20cm long.

Doctors gave her an ultrasound scan and detected a bunch of worms in her stomach. The baby had to take medicine. Around 100 worms were taken from her stomach. After treatment, the baby is now healthy.

It is reported that her parents are workers in the southern province of Binh Duong. The baby was taken care of by her grandparents in Thanh Hoa province.

After seeing worms crawling from her nose and mouth, the grandparents sent the baby to their parents, who brought their kid to the Thu Duc General in HCM City for treatment.
