An intact centuries-old porcelain pot has been discovered in Ha Tinh Province’s Nghi Xuan District.

The artifact, found by Ha Tinh Museum experts during a research into antiques in the district, has a jade colored crackle glaze and is decorated with a rooster head shaped spout, pot-support and handle.

According to local researchers, the pot was made between the 13th and 14th centuries and used by an aristocratic family under the Tran Dynasty (1225- 1400).

In addition to the pot, the museum has collected more than 500 artifacts dating back to the Tran and Le dynasties. It has also unearthed artifacts related to the wars of resistance against the French colonists and American imperialists.
