It is final. The speculation can be laid to rest. Bob Dylan will perform in Vietnam next month, a source has confirmed to Thanh Nien.

Vietnam will definitely be part of the 70-year-old legendary composer and singer’s Asian tour that also covers China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore, the source said. The performance contract for next month’s concert has been signed and the tour organizers are waiting for formal permission from local authorities, the source added.

Dylan, who started his singing career in 1962, has released over 50 albums to date. He is well-known in Vietnam for his anti-war songs like “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “The Times They Are a-Changin.”

The Grammys winner is also an  accomplished painter.
