A painting by Helene Kling

An exhibition of paintings by Helene Kling will be held from May 13-16 May at the Exhibition House on 92 Le Thanh Ton, District 1, HCMC.

Kling’s paintings depict Vietnamese landscapes and the lives of ethnic minority people, particularly women.

She was inspired, she says, by the changes she witnessed during her 15 years in Vietnam and her work focuses mainly on what she calls the “evolution” of Vietnamese women.

The exhibition is held with the support of the Consulate General of France in Ho Chi Minh City.
