Last night at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers, the Milano fashion show featured a Spring/Summer collection of high end European brands, and had a vivid display of bright summer fashions and elegant dress wear for both men and women.

This fashion show marked welcoming a new summer with an expression of joy, and brought a wind of elegant luxury from Europe to a Saigon audience.

From beginning to the end, the event transferred audience back to nature with an European spring garden theme. Entering the cocktail reception, guests were surrounded by fresh spring blossoms every step they made. Dozens of types of flowers were carpeting the walls, on the floor, and around a fountain in the middle. The stage was also arranged with fresh flowers on the catwalk, canopy gateways and stage wall.

Showcasing the 2011 Spring/Summer collection were famous fashions from such designers as Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, D & G and more.  This fashion show had the attendance of top Vietnamese models including Thanh Hang, Ha Anh, Vo Hoang Yen.

The highlights of the evening included the lace white dress collection for young ladies by Dolce & Gabbana.  A chiffon evening dress from the collection of Roberto Cavalli had lively and vibrant colors that were reminiscent of a free and wild Africa style.

Milano fashion show gathered many Vietnamese celebrities including singer Dam Vinh Hung, and famous film stars Truong Ngoc Anh and her husband Bao Son.

Besides a sophisticated collection for women and men, Dolce & Gabbana brought a new look to men’s fashion with casual fashions including a men’s handbag and sunglass.  A man on a summer holiday at the beach can still be hip, fashionable and have a place for his keys!
