International artists Pablo, Noelia and Guillermo Claure from Argentina and South Korean duo Lee In-Kyoung and Park Jiwon will come to town to join the second Saigon Tango Blitz hosted by Ta Tango from April 27 to May 5.

Courtesy of organizers The event will feature 12 workshops and private lessons and six Milongastango events with artists. It will start with aMilonga retreat week with performances of Guillermo Claure at the StarCity Saigon Hotel.

Next Milonga and workshops will be hosted from May 2 to 5 mainly at the five-star Windsor Plaza Hotel Saigon. Pablo and Noelia started dancing together over 15 years ago when she was 16 and he was 17. In 2003 they joined the cast of Tanguera, a famous Argentine musical event, and started performing in the most prestigious theaters in Buenos Aires and around the world.

In 2005, traveling to Japan in the framework of International Expo Aichi where danced for the Emperor of Japan and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands. As teachers and choreographers they performed choreography of the tango scene champions Japan in 2006 and coached the champions and runners-up in Metropolitan tango in Buenos Aires in 2010.

Claure is a patient, dedicated Tango teacher/performer for the past 13 years. He is familiar in Asia for his participation in various performances and classes in Mexico, Bolivia, Japan, China and Hong Kong. In-Kyoung is a professional tango dancer, teacher and organizer who ownsmilongas-El tango in Seoul and Azucar in Daejon. She was a ?nalist in the 2008 World Tango Championship, held in Busan. She is also a director and choreographer who has directed dance plays in several stages such as the Daejon Art Center.

Jiwon won the 2012 World tango championship in Asia and 2012 Tokyo international tango festival –Milonga champion. Workshop will focus on musicality for milonga, milonga lisa (plain) and milonga with traspié, basic techniques for men and women, torso lead, giros, sacadas and in combination, foundation of Tango Salon: close embrace, connection, elegance, walks, men techniques/exercise, ladies technique, of how to feel and control body by dancers themselves and how to catch the rhythm of milonga.
