A delegation of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly
and Viet Nam Fatherland Front leaders yesterday, May 18, laid a wreath in
tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum on the occasion of his 121st
birthday.

Prominent at the
ceremony were Party General Secretary and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu
Trong; President Nguyen Minh Triet; Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; President of
the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee Huynh Dam and Permanent Member
of the Party Central Committee Secretariat Truong Tan Sang.


Former Party General
Secretaries Le Kha Phieu and Nong Duc Manh; former President Tran Duc Luong;
former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An; former President of the Viet
Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee Pham The Duyet and other senior leaders
and revolutionary veterans also joined the delegation.


Also yesterday, a
delegation of officials from the Central Military Party Committee, the Ministry
of Defence, the Central Police Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security,
the People’s Committee and People’s Council of Ha Noi, other ministries,
agencies and localities visited the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum.
