In celebration of the Children’s Day, June 1, the British Embassy and British University Vietnam will organize a painting exhibition titled “See Britain through my brush” in Hanoi.

This exhibition will showcase nearly 40 paintings, the result of a month long exercise carried out by pupils of the Co Xinh Art Centre at the university’s city campus on Ba Trieu street.

Some of children have focused on traditional iconic images such as the Tower Bridge and the Big Ben while others have chosen to portray modern icons like Harry Porter, Susan Boyle and Wayne Rooney.

“The young artists should all be proud of their undoubted talents. The old and the modern UK is clearly reflected in the lively and spectacular art works they have produced," said Ambassador Antony Stokes.

The exhibition will remain open from 9a.m. to 6p.m. from 28 May to June 3 ( except on Sunday).
