Vietnam’s best badminton player, Nguyen Tien Minh, will participate in the Yonex All England Open in Birmingham and the Wilson Badminton Swiss Open in Basel next month.

The All England contest will take place from March 8-13.

Minh is the world number seven and the seventh seed at the US$350,000 Super Series Premier event that will have the world’s top three players – Malaysian Lee Chong Wei, Indonesian Taufik Hidayat and China’s Lin Dan – and others participating in it.

After the event in England, Minh will fly to Switzerland to compete in the Wilson Badminton Swiss Open in Basel from March 15-20.

At the Grand Prix Gold in Switzerland last year, the Vietnamese ace advanced to the men’s singles quarterfinals. If Minh wants to stay in the world top 10, he must post good results at the event in Basel this year.
