The Vietnamese version of a famous South Korean reality show seeking to spot young football talents will be launched in Hanoi this month.

Known as Cau thu ti hon (Little soccer players), the Vietnamese show will give child participants the chance to play football, receive training from famous coaches, and also meet with comedians during a 22-week period.

A select few will also attend outdoor activities designed to build teamwork as well as trips to Ho Chi Minh City and South Korea, according to TJB Vietnam Marketing and Communications Co. Ltd., which has bought the copyrights for the show along with Vietnam Television (VTV).

The show is scheduled to air at 5:30-8:00 p.m. every Sunday on VTV3, starting this August 28.

Cau thu ti hon is the Vietnamese version of the Shootdori introduced by the Korean Broadcasting System in 2007. The show has helped establish more than 500 clubs of children’s football clubs across the country so far.
