Vietnam’s low cost carrier Jetstar Pacific announced that it will resume Hanoi-Nha Trang flights this month, news website VnExpress reported Monday.

The flights will operate once daily from May 24 to May 31. Subsequently, there will be two flights every day through the summer, the report said.

At the moment, Vietnam Airlines is the only carrier operating flights on the route. Last year, Jetstar Pacific flew from Hanoi to Nha Trang, but only during the summer when demand was high.

“Depending on market demands, we will take a decision on October 29 whether to make the Hanoi-Nha Trang service regular,” a representative of Jetstar Pacific said.

It takes one hour 45 minutes to fly between the cities. Airfares hover around the VND1 million (US$49) mark.
