The People’s Committee of northern
Quang Ninh Province has decided to suspend the business and travel operations of
the Hai Long Co Ltd in Ha Long Bay in order to further investigate possible
causes for its tourist boat sinking on Sunday.

Local
authorities said rescuers would finish pumping water from the boat during the
next few days.

The sunken boat was anchored off Do Can Island on Monday to
ensure traffic safety in the bay.

All 28
French passengers and 12 crew members on board were successfully rescued.
