The Management Unit is directly under The district People’s Committee. It works as a counsellor for The district People’s Committee about management of national heritages, and architectural relics in Phuoc Thinh ancient village.

The Management Unit will preserve, restore, repair and exploit architectural relics area of Phuoc Thinh village effectively. In addition, it also researches and develops traditional cultural values, natural landscapes, as well as educates the awareness of preserving the character of national culture. Also, The Management Unit will call for the investment to promote and develop local tourism.

Phuoc Thinh ancient village (Phong Hoa commune, Phong Dien district) has been over 500 years old. It was established in the fifteenth century. Now, the village has 37 ancient Ruong houses with more than 20 undamaged Ruong houses. Phuoc Thinh village is Vietnam’s second house ranked the national architectural relic by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, following Duong Lam ancient village (Ha Tay). Now the village has been restored and repaired to introduce tourists more unique traits of the village.
