The event will be organized jointly by the Quang Nam provincial People's Committee and Interkultur Foundation of Germany.

The Competition  is part of the 5th Quang Nam Heritage Journeys Festival, which will be organised in Hoi An, My Son Sanctuary, Tam Ky City and Cham Island from June 21-26.

The host country has sent four troupes from Hue city city's Academy of Music, the Catholic Church Choir of Hoi An and culture centres of Quang Nam Province and Hoi An City to compete at the annual event.

It's expected that over 500 artists from 15 foreign troupes and four domestic groups are set to perform at the two-day concert.

Along with this competition,  activities re-operate ancient  town night and the early 20th century cuisine, Vietnam – Asean heritage culture space exhibition, ect.
