This is an ideal destination for a short vacation with your family and friends on weekend.

Unlike most mountains in the North and the Central Region of Vietnam, which are either of sheer rocks with pointed peaks or covered by forests, Dong Cao has a large and undulating top stretching for a few kilometers. A large area of the mountain is covered with fine grass, which makes it an ideal spot for camping.

Camping in Dong Cao plateau is an interesting experience. you just need to bring cooking, a tent, a sleeping bag, blanket, and flashlights.

Dong Cao village has more than 20 households stretching throughout the valley and hiding in forests. There is no electric here so Dong Cao has poor living conditions.

Many travellers come here and find a flat land in the plateau to camp. They lights a campfire and prepare a meal. In the evening, travellers can contemplate bright stars in the nightsky, chat together and enjoy they prepare. Staying here, you can listening to the sound of wind and insects. You will absolutely feel refreshing. Wind blows over your hair. Insects sing their own songs. The sound of the night always makes people feel peaceful and miraculous.

In early morning, you can watch the sunrise and the first sunlight of the day. You should not miss an opportunity to capture beautiful moments of nature with your camera.

Let’s allow you to live slowly and enjoy every moment of life. Listening to the sound of nature, meditating on a rock, climbing hills or discovering Vua cave are interesting things you can do here. Everybody choose  their own way to live as they want.

If you plan to come to Dong Cao, you should prepare camping gears, and you can stay with local ethnic Dzao people in their houses. They are friendly and willing to help.
