The Australian Girls Choir will perform in Hanoi next week on the latest stop on a world tour.

The Australian Girls Choir will entertain local music lovers from October 6-10 in a concert series held at the Hanoi Children’s Culture Palace organized by the Australian Embassy in Vietnam.

The performance will feature Australian and Aboriginal folk songs, Broadway music and gospel pieces.

The 53 senior members of the choir will also partake in sightseeing trips around Hanoi and nearby Ha Long Bay, and conduct musical workshops at the United Nations International School (UNIS).

Founded in 1984, the Australian Girls Choir has developed into a national organization of 3,500 choristers based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. The choir is regarded as the top girls’ choir in Australia.

The concert is a part of a world tour started on September 19 taking the group to Dublin, Glasgow, London and Hanoi.

Free tickets are available starting today at the embassy located at 8 Dao Tan Street in Ba Dinh District, and at the Culture Palace located at 36 Ly Thai To Street in Hoan Kiem District.
