VietNamNet Bridge – Dep (Beauty) Fashion Show 7, the largest fashion show in Vietnam, will take place in Hanoi-based Friendship Palace on October 4, featuring collections of four young designers.

The Vespa scooters painted by famous artists Thanh Chuong and Le Thiet Cuong will be auctioned on eBay Vietnam from October 4-30, 2008.

Entitled “Moving in Style”, the show will gather more than 60 famous models, who will present the best designs of Mai Lam, Le Ha, Do Manh Cuong and Vo Phan Huy. Ha and Huy are new names besides Mai Lam and Manh Cuong, who are quite well-known.

This time Mai Lam will contribute to Dep Fashion Show 7 a collection named “Believers” and Manh Cuong with “Fashion’s Victim”, which are said to be very modern and colorful.

The show will be decorated with vespa scooters from Italy and painted by famous artists Thanh Chuong and Le Thiet Cuong. The vespas are currently on display at the Moving exhibition at 29 Hang Bai, Hanoi till September 28.

Two of the scooters will be auctioned on eBay Vietnam as of 10am, October 4, 2008 at the starting price of $7,000 each. The auction will close at 10am, October 30. Proceeds from the auction will be put towards Dep Fashion Show’s ‘Fund for Young Talented Designers’.

The four designers will also auction a scooter each, decorated following the style of their collections, at the starting price of $5,700.

Director Ngo Quang Hai will take the audience through a journey of ports of fashion and arts, including Hanoi, Paris, Tokyo and Milan. Each new destination is a “move” of culture, arts and personality.
