VietNamNet Bridge - By opening the FTV Center in District 1 on Sept. 19, Fashion TV (FTV), the international fashion industry’s most celebrated channel, has officially set their foot in the Viet Nam’s fashion industry.

The center includes the F Model Agency, which specializes in organizing fashion shows, selecting and training international models for beauty pageants, banquet rooms and FTV Ben Thanh Restaurant. The center will be a place for fashion lovers to meet and exchange new ideas as well as honor creative collections.

“The year 2008 is an important one for FTV’s development in Asia where has the world’s most active economy, promising land for breakthroughs in fashion,” said Mr. Michel Adam Lisowski, president and founder of FTV.

FTV will save a large amount of time to broadcast Asian fashion on this occasion.

Founded in France in 1997, Fashion TV has become one of the most widely-distributed satellite channels in the world with 31 satellites, 2,000 cable systems, accessible at a total of 300 million households in 202 countries across the five continents.

The center is located at 21-27 Ton That Thiep Street, District 1.
