VietNamNet Bridge – 14 selected Vietnamese movies will be screened during the Vietnam Film Week, which runs from October 10 to 16 in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

The event, held by MegaStar Media, selected 14 movies screened during the past 15 years, including Sandy Loves (Đời Cát) – the best film award of Asia Pacific Film Festival in 1999 and Bride of Silence (Hạt MÆ°a RÆ¡i Bao Lâu) – the best film award in the Kerela Film Festival in 2005.

Tickets cost just half of the regular price in order to promote viewers to come to see the films, said a MegaStar Media officer.

MegaStar Media hopes Vietnam Film Week will warm up local viewers before launching commercials for a series of films that will be screened during Vietnam’s New Year holiday.

MegaStar Media, a joint venture in the entertainment industry in Vietnam, owns a chain of the most modern cinemas and theatres in the country.
