VietNamNet Bridge – A photo gallery named “Hanoi Emotion” opened on Monday at Hang Bai Art Gallery in Hanoi to present photos awarded in the 38th Art Photo Contest organised by the Hanoi Association of Literature and Arts and Hanoi Photographic Artists’ Association

“The Classmates” by Ta Ngoc Bao
The contest attracted 161 participants from Hanoi and other provinces. One hundred and eleven out of over 800 art photos were chosen by the Jury Board to be exhibited at the gallery. Most of the displayed photos vividly reflect activities of the capital city in the politic, economic and cultural fields, among others.

“Lighting the Spring Electric Currents” by Pham Cong Thang
Sixteen most outstanding photos were awarded medals and certificates of merit by the organisers. The gold medal goes to Pham Cong Thang with the photo titled “Thap Sang Dong Dien Mua Xuan” (Lighting the Spring Electric Currents).

“The Old Ceramic Village” by Quang Lam
Two silvers belonged to Quang Lam with “Lang Gom Co” (The Old Ceramic Village) and Ta Ngoc Bao with “Ban Cung Lop” (The Classmates). “1.000 năm Thang Long - Ha Noi” (1000 years of Thang Long - Hanoi), ”Thi Mau len chua” (Thi Mau Goes To The Pagoda) and “Đem Ve Pho Co” (The Old Quarters At Night) earned Chí Công, Nguyễn Huỳnh Mai, Hoàng Minh the bronzes respectively.

The gallery sponsored by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists will open by October 12.
