VietNamNet Bridge - Eight typical films, representing the different types of Japanese cinematography, will be on show in Hanoi from October 10 to 14, and Hai Phong from October 17th to 21st, as part of the Japanese Film Week in Vietnam.

VietNamNet Bridge - Eight typical films, representing the different types of Japanese cinematography, will be on show in Hanoi from October 10 to 14, and Hai Phong from October 17th to 21st, as part of the Japanese Film Week in Vietnam.

The Japan Film Festival 2008 in Vietnam is co-organised by the Japan Embassy in Vietnam, the Japan Foundation, Vietnam Japan Culture Center and some related Vietnamese Ministries and Agencies to mark the 35th year anniversary of Japan – Vietnam diplomatic relation.

The film ranges in types, from the animation film ’Doraemon and Nobita’s Dinosaur’ and ’Captain Hardlock in Arcadia’, to samurai film ’Hana’, love film ’The Sign of love’; comedy film ’Free and Easy’, ’Pingpong Bath Station’, ’Fancy Dance’, to comedy ’My Grandpa’.

The films will be on show at the National Cinema, in Hanoi and the May 1 Cinema, Hai Phong. The films will have Vietnamese dubbing and English subtitles.

On this occasion, a seminar for ’Doraemon and Nobita’s Dinosaur’ will be held at the National Cinema, in Hanoi on October 11th.

Free tickets can be collected at the Vietnam Japan Culture Center, 27 Quang Trung street, Hanoi, or Hai Phong Film Distribution and Cinema Center, 111 Tran Phu street, from October 6.
