Japanese film week to kick off at weekend

Four Japanese films will be screened for free during Japanese Film Week, beginning Saturday in Ho Chi Minh City.

Each of the films, “Space Pirate Captain Harlock: Arcadia of My Youth,” “Ping Pong Bath Station,” “My Grandpa” and “Fancy Dance,” will be screened twice during the film week, which ends November 7.

The event is co-organized by the Consulate-General of Japan in HCMC and the Saigon Movies-Media Company to mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations.

Tickets can be picked up until Friday on a first come first serve basis at:
