Designer Vo Viet Chung

Award-winning designer Vo Viet Chung will dress Mrs. World 2008 beauties, who will make a promotional appearance at this month’s World Youth Chess Championships in Vung Tau City.

The designer is famous for dressing many celebrities and the contestants in this year’s Miss Universe 2008 contest, held in Vietnam in July.

Chung has designed traditional Vietnamese ao dai in silk, satin and lace for the Mrs. World contestants.

Mrs. World 2008 first runner-up Colleen Francisca, third runner-up Zambrano Falcon Julisa Victoria and Mrs. World America 2008 Maureen McDonald will join a lineup of local beauties, including Mrs. World 2008 fourth runner-up and Miss Vietnam 1990 Nguyen Dieu Hoa and supermodel Vu Cam Nhung.

As well as hosting the World Youth Chess Championship from October 19 to 31, the southern seaside town of Vung Tau will also host the Mrs. World 2009 pageant.
