Nominations open for artists of the people

The Mai Vang (Golden Apricots) Awards, designed to honor Vietnam’s best artists, began accepting nominations Monday. | |||||||
Organized by the local newspaper Nguoi Lao Dong (The Laborer), the awards show accepts nominations of individuals and groups submitted by readers and press agencies. The event’s judges panel will choose no more than five nominees in each awards category. Nominations will end in November this year and the judges will pick the winners between the 5th and 30th of December. Prior to the award show next January 18, the nominated artists will perform in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Can Tho. Reported by Da Ly | |||||||
