VietNamNet Bridge – Festival Aromes 2008, with the theme “The journey through four continents,” will take place in Hanoi from December 3-7.

This event will have the participation of a French famous chef from Paris, Alain Passard. He is currently one of the most famous chefs in Paris.

The festival will also see the attendance of Chef Meryem Cherkaoui, from Casablanca; Marc de Cankck, from Quebec; and Didier Corlou, from the Metropole Hanoi Hotel.

Festival Aromes will group culinary “masters” from Asia, Africa, America and Europe. They will guide Vietnamese visitors from the Sudden Inspiration Party of America to the Sun Gastronomy of Africa; from Stars noon-party to Gala Diner of Europe.

Moreover, Didier Corlou, who has researched Vietnamese aromas for 13 years, will chair a talk about Vietnam’s unique spices and cooking at the French Cultural Centre at 24 Trang Tien, Hanoi.
