An installation exhibition by two German documentary producers will present Hanoi’s transformation through the city’s residents.

“Hanoi Transformation,” which opens today at the Hanoi Goethe Institute, portrays impressions of Berlin filmmakers Julia Albrecht and Busso von Müller.

The capital city is familiar with Albrecht and Muller through their acclaimed documentary Chao Ha Noi (Good Morning Hanoi).

With a combination of large-sized photos and talks broadcast through loudspeakers, the show will give visitors personal views of Hanoians about the development of their city.

The event is a result of thorough research - a series of discussions with citizens of all ages and social classes whose daily lives reflect the city’s and the country’s rapid transformation.

The exhibition will run until November 23 at 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ba Dinh District. The event is free and open to the public.
