Soprano Ekaterine Bugianishvili is to perform in Hanoi next Tuesday

A classical music concert in Hanoi will mark the Vietnam visit of Italian Minister of Economic Development Claudio Scajola on November 4.

The visiting artists have won many prizes at national and international contests.

Soprano Ekaterine Bugianishvili won the first prize at the Battistini contest, while tenor Dionigi D’Ostuni won a scholarship as a prize in the international contest ‘Citta di Corato.’ He was also a finalist in the international contest ‘Tito Schipa.’

Soprano Perrine Madoeuf was a semi-finalist at the Montreal International Music Competition, a winner at Cascogne and a finalist in an international contest of Catalan countries.

Baritone Andrea Porta received a special prize at the ‘Masini’ and ‘Belvedere’ competitions.

Pianist Achille Lampo has performed in several concerts around the world and has directed three operas.

The concert, co-organized by the Italian Embassy and the Performing Arts Department, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will take place at the Hanoi Opera House, 1 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem District.
