The second annual Hanoi International Music Festival will host artists from Australia, China, and Vietnam on November 22.

Event organizers the Hanoi Minsk Club and the Club for Arts and Music Appreciation (CAMA) have invited Australian acts The Emergency, Bertie Blackman and Ollo, all-female rock-trio Girl Kill Girl from China, as well as Hanoi’s own 7 Days, Digital Offensive and The Van Ho Ba to perform.

Games, cooking and beverages will be available from 12:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the American Club, 19 Hai Ba Trung Street, Hoan Kiem District.

Founded in 2005, Hanoi-based CAMA aims to bring independent music to Vietnam, having already played a central role in helping 20 bands and DJs play in Hanoi.

The Hanoi Minsk Club, founded in 1998, has organized more than 40 not-for-profit events for locals and expatriates alike, including the Dai Lai Lake Charity Rally, which raised funds for a home for disadvantaged and handicapped children.

Tickets for the event cost VND350,000 (US$20).
