VietNamNet Bridge – Model Pham Thi Ngoc Ha left Vietnam on Monday to participate in the 20^th annual Miss Model of the World 2008 in Shenzen, China from November 4-23.

Vietnam began participating in this contest in Shanghai, China in 2003, with model Thanh Ngoc. This year’s event has attracted 69 models from around the world. The final night will take place on November 22. The contest was organized for the first time in 1988.

Pham Thi Ngoc Ha, 24, 1.74m, 88-61-91, won the title “Best in ao dai,” and was one of the top ten beauties of the Miss Tourism 2008 contest.

Ha joined the fashion world in 2005. She has modeled in most of the largest and most popular fashion events in Vietnam, for example Fashion Week, Vietnam Grandpix and the Dep Fashion Show. She has hosted some TV shows on VTV6 channel and the Hanoi Television channel (HTV).

Ha brought nearly 40 costumes to the contest, which were designed by Ivy, a luxurious fashion brand in Vietnam.
