An exhibition of work by ten Vietnamese and foreign sculptors opened in Ho Chi Minh City Thursday.

Dieu khac Sai Gon (Saigon Sculpture Symposium) showcases 22 works in a wide range of styles and materials.

In its’ sixth edition, Dieu khac Sai Gon features three foreign artists – Korean Choi Ok Yeung, Filipino Noelle el Farol and Morton Burke from Canada.

Choi is a professor at the Kangnung National University and head of the Kangwon Artists Association. El Farol is the head of the University of the Philippines’ Diliman Department of Art Studies while Burke is a curator and teacher at Canada’s Alberta College of Art and Design.

The three held a seminar on sculpture and culture at the HCMC Fine Arts Association, the exhibition venue, Friday.

The show – also featuring the work of local artists Tran Viet Hung, Phan Phuong, Bui Hai Son – will run until December 17 at 218 Pasteur Street, District 3.
