VietNamNet Bridge – The poll for the Miss International Image title of the Miss International 2008 beauty pageant closed at 12am, November 5 (Tokyo time). Vietnam’s Cao Thuy Duong had 18% of votes, winning the title.

Of more than 62,000 votes on the geocities website, Thuy Duong obtained 11,345 votes. Behinds her are Miss Sri Lanka (8,145) and Miss Indonesia (7,994). The organizers will announce the winner Thursday, November 6.

Thuy Duong ranks 17^th in the list of outstanding contestants on the geocities website. According to this site, which specializes in beauty contests, some contestants who are considered to be outstanding at the beginning, while some others have emerged as very good, for example Miss Turkey, Miss Venezuela and Miss Macau.

Last year, Vietnam’s Pham Thi Thuy Duong also won the Miss International Image title.
