A science fiction-inspired work by expat artist Tiffany Chung, on display at the “Wonderland” art exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City

A Vietnamese American artist has just launched her second art exhibition of the year in Ho Chi Minh City.

Tiffany Chung’s “Wonderland” exhibit comprises paintings made from land survey maps; images that tell imaginative stories; and installments which incorporate toy animals.

In August, Tiffany collaborated with other Vietnamese and Korean artists on her first exhibition of the year titled “Transpop: Korea Vietnam Remix” at the Quynh Gallery.

The exhibit, organized by the San Francisco-based Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, featured artists whose works explore representations of modernity and popular culture.

“Wonderland” is now open at the gallery at 65 De Tham Street, District 1, HCMC until November 29.
