VietNamNet Bridge - A documentary film on dioxin in Vietnam entitled “Agent Orange: A personal Requiem” produced in 2007 by female Japanese director Masako Sakata and director Bill Megalos won the Special Prize at the 26 International Environmental Film Festival recently held in France.

The 71 minute long documentary tells about director Masako’s husband named G.David, a journalist and a US veteran who died 4 years ago due to liver cancer which was the affect from the Agent Orange during his time in Vietnam war.

According to the director, the film not only helps to make clear the reason leading to the environmental disaster that has never happened before but also conveys the condemnation from the international community for the indifference of the American society towards pains suffered by Agent Orange victims.
