VietNamNet Bridge - The curtain came down on the Lam Dong Tea Cultural Festival in Bao Loc town in the central highland province of Lam Dong on December 7.

“The show attracted a large number of domestic and foreign visitors while many local people and enterprises participated,” Pham Quang Tuong, chairman of the town People’s Committee and head of the festival organization board, said.

“The festival has aroused the pride of the tea town’s residents who have helped a great deal in promoting B’lao tea.”

The event provided visitors a chance to discover B’lao tea-growing area in Bao Loc.

The French established tea plantations in Bao Loc, 120 kilometers from Da Lat and 200 km from HCMC, in the 1930s.

Now, it is home to many famous tea brands like Tram Anh, Tam Chau, Do Huu, Quoc Thai, and others .The mountain town is also well known for coffee, mulberry, and avocado.
