VietNamNet Bridge – On Saturday, Miss Vietnam Tourism 2008, Phan Thi Ngoc Diem, left Vietnam for Malaysia for the Miss Tourism International 2008 Contest.

Ngoc Diem, 21, is a student of the HCM City-based Foreign Trade University. She is also a host of the Weather Forecast show on HCM City Television. The girl played a small role in a movie entitled “Ambition.” She can speak both English and Japanese.

The Vietnamese contestant will wear costumes by the famous Vietnamese designer, Vo Viet Chung, at the Miss Tourism International 2008 pageant contest.

This is the sixth time Vietnam is sending a representative to this contest. In 2003, Vu Huong Giang won the Most Talented and Congeniality awards.

The final night will take place on January 1, 2009.
