There will be three flower markets in Ho Chi Minh City ahead of next year’s Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, which starts on January 26, the city administration has announced.

September 23 Park in District 1 will be the main market with around 900 booths of 20 square meters each.

The other two markets will be in District 1’s Le Van Tam Park and Gia Dinh Park in Go Vap District.

According to the city administration, the markets will operate from January 18-25.

A flower festival will also be held in District 1’s Tao Dan park from January 20-31. The festival is expected to display 3,000 items for exhibition and 2,000 entries to contests.
