VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese model Dao Mai Uyen Thao entered the top five contestants and won the Best in Traditional Costume prize at the Miss Teen World Supermodel 2008.

The contest took place in Gold Coast City, Queensland state, Australia from December 7-12.

Uyen Thao, 18, is an exclusive model of the VietModel Company. She is a student of the HCM City University for Social Sciences and Humanities.

The Vietnamese model impressed the jury with a Vietnamese red ao dai, designed by Thuan Viet, and a folk dance.

The first prize went to a New Zealand model. The second and the third prizes were presented to Australian and Austrian models.
