Miss World 2008 Ksenia Sukhinova (L), along with Miss World 2007 Zhang Zi Lin, will visit Vietnam next month for charity activities and ring in the Lunar New Year

Miss World 2008 Ksenia Sukhinova and her predecessor Zhang Zi Lin will join various cultural and charity activities in Vietnam early next month.

After spending January 8-9 in Nha Trang, the beauties will also visit Hanoi, a few northern provinces, the central localities of Thua-Thien Hue city, Quang Ngai and Da Nang, as well as Kien Giang, Tien Giang and Hau Giang provinces in the Mekong Delta.

The journey, which is estimated to cost more than VND20 billion (US$1.16 million) and last more than two weeks, will close in Ho Chi Minh City.

Zhang and Sukhinova will share the stage in a music show on January 13 in Hanoi with many Vietnamese singers from across the nation and overseas.

On January 25, which is also the last day of the 2008 lunar year, the beauty queens will celebrate Lunar New Year’s Eve at HCMC’s September 23rd Park.
