Famous artists of various fields have been invited to participate in a special Hanoi Television (HTV) programme which will be broadcast on the last day of the lunar December 2008.

Miss Vietnam 1998 and People’s Artist Nhu Quynh.

The show will see the presence of the first Miss Vietnam 1998 Bui Bich Phuong, famous singers Thanh Lam, My Linh, Ho Quynh Huong, Ho Ngoc Ha, Le Quyen, Luu Huong Giang, senior actress-People’s Artist Nhu Quynh, painter Vu Giang Huong, who is also chairwoman of the National Union of Literature and Arts Associations, Doctor of Literature Doan Huong, the Nam Phuong traditional music troupe, the Grammy dance troupe and female models of Elite Vietnam.

The only male artist in the show will be MC Ngo Thanh.

The show “Hanoi’s past and present Tet 2009 – Spring Colour” is a story about women from the past to present told by music. Coming between talks and music will be the introductions of two fashion collections by David Minh Duc, entitled “Hallmarks” and “Hanoian Brides”, worn by models from Elite Vietnam.

The programme will be held on January 21 at the Hanoi Friendship Palace.
