Vietnamese Calligraphy Club of HCM City Labor Culture Palace Jan 15 opened a ‘calligrapher street’ in front of the palace to write and sell calligraphy for the first time and will run until January 25.

The Club is holding an exhibition of water-colors and calligraphy from January 11 to February 20.

The Youth Culture House has also opened a calligrapher street.

The spontaneous calligrapher street in Truong Dinh Street became quiet this year as the calligraphers have flocked to the other two.

A senior calligrapher Bui Hien, the first person to write calligraphy here in 2003, keeps coming and seems to be lonely with other sparsely spaced calligraphers.
