VietNamNet Bridge – Both the beauty queen who has come to Vietnam four times (Miss World 2007 Zhang Zilin) and the one who is now in Vietnam for the first time (Miss World 2008 Ksenia Sukhinova) said they love Vietnam and want to return to the country as visitors.

The two beauty queens met again for the first time since the Miss World 2008 crown ceremony in South Africa this morning. Though she did not arrive until last night, Zhang Zilin looked fresh and bright.

She said she came to Vietnam late because her grandfather was sick. He is still in the hospital. She also said that Vietnam has become a familiar country to her. “Many Vietnamese correspondents have become my friends. I often tell my friends in China that Vietnam is a wonderful place for travel,” Zhang Zilin said.

“In China we are preparing for the New Year and it is the same in Vietnam. I wish a happy New Year for everyone,” the beauty queen said.

Miss World 2008 Sukhinova also praised Vietnam as a wonderful country and she said “Happy New Year” in Vietnamese.

The two beauty queens took photos at the National Convention Hall in Hanoi this morning and they participated in the rehearsal for the “Singing from the Root” gala, which is going to take place tonight.
