VietNamNet Bridge - Vietnamese fashion designer Minh Hanh will present 30 designs of ethnic minority women in the Northwestern mountainous region of Vietnam on January 31, at the Santo Spirito Cathedral, Rome as a part of the Alta Roma Fashion Week.

A design in Minh Hanh’s collection named “Dragon and Butterfly” which impressed Italian audience in 2007.

VietNamNet Bridge - Vietnamese fashion designer Minh Hanh will present 30 designs of ethnic minority women in the Northwestern mountainous region of Vietnam on January 31, at the Santo Spirito Cathedral, Rome as a part of the Alta Roma Fashion Week from January 31 to February 3.

Minh Hanh’s show is among the major events of the fashion week, which aims to strengthen and promote the cultural exchange between Vietnam and Italy. Minh Hanh will be the only Vietnamese fashion designer at the event.

Minh Hanh’s collection is designed in the irreducible style, using three-dimension technique and employing brocade plus manual embroidery. Her work is also decorated with crystal, gemstones and cloth-made flowers. The collection features strong colors like dark green, dark red and black.

This is the 14th Alta Roma Fashion Week, which will take place inside the Santo Spirito Cathedral, which was built in the 12th century in Sassia, Rome.

The event will see the participation of famous Italian designers, namely Balestra, curiel, Sarli, Bilotta, Miglionico and Coretti.
