HCM City Television (HTV) has declared the nominees for the 2008 HTV Awards, which honors local artists who have made a great contribution to cultural promotion and exchange and earned the love of audiences during the last year.

Singer Ho Ngoc Ha

Duc Tuan, Ho Ngoc Ha and Nam Dong Ke troupe take the lead for music while My Uyen, Thuy Nga and Thanh Ngan are tops in drama.

Meanwhile, Viet Anh, Thanh Hang and Le Khanh have been nominated for HTV Awards for Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor.

Audience members will vote for the artists they like from March 8-31, 2009. Based on the votes, the organising board will choose the winners of the 2008 HTV Awards in the fields of music, movies and drama.

From March 31-April 18, fans will vote for Favourite Artist. The HTV Awards ceremony will be held on April 18 and aired live on HTV9.
