Renowned UK cellist Julian Lloyd Webber will have a duet performance with Indian pianist Pam Chowhan in the 13th Hennessy Concert of the Hanoi Opera House on Friday, March 6.

Julian will be showing off his talents in a number of classical pieces by Bach, Faure, Debussy and Brahms with his Barajansky Stradivarius cello of the 1690s.

Julian, who is younger brother of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, was a scholar of the Royal College of Music in London at the age of sixteen and completed his studies with French cellist Pierre Fournie in Geneva in 1973.

In 2008, Julian was invited by the British Government to chair its music development project called “In Harmony” which aims at using music to bring positive change to the lives of young children in the UK.

The concert, which is organized by the Center for Art Performance Organization and Moet – Hennessy Asia Pacific, will start at 8 p.m. at Hanoi Opera House (1 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).
